Chain Coupling

Chain couplings are shaft connectors with two rows of roller chains and two sprockets. They're easy to connect and separate by removing a pin. These couplings use chains meshed with sprocket teeth to transmit torque, suitable for small-scale power transfer. They absorb vibration and impacts and allow for some misalignment. The coupling consists of two parts secured with screws. They connect two shafts, often extending from a motor or gearbox to efficiently transfer power to a machine. Chain couplings can compensate for small misalignments, up to two degrees.
